Your ability to lead your nation is your supreme weapon, the strategy game Hearts of Iron IV lets you take command of any nation in World War II; the most engaging conflict in world history. Grand Battleplan vs Mobile Warfare is "Defensive" vs "Offensive". I've been saying this for most of a year now lol. Deep Battle. So "high IC" means lots of arty then later lots of tanks and mot/mech. No enhancements at all, since it's so strong to begin with. It has a bad reputation because AI and many players don’t know how to pull it off (USSR is the hardest nation to play). To do this… Mobile warfare really isn't supposed to be played the way you played it, same for deep battle. Mass Assault. Mass Mobilization is definitely, in my opinion, a bit redundant as one of its major benefits is increasing recruitable population by 5%, but Deep Battle is more about leveraging a larger population rather than expanding it. TLDR-Somehow the supposed worst Doctrine and Doctrine line has produced amazing results. Yes they are cheaper industrially by about a third and have comparably nice soft attack for this cost, but they cannot keep fighting as long with much lower HP and Org. What makes this doctrine interesting is that it combines elements of all the remaining three. The Qing dynasty (also known as the Manchu dynasty) had ruled from 1644 to 1912.The republic experienced many trials and tribulations after its founding, and is fractured by both internal and exter… Didn't they slowly but steadily buff mass assault? I have to ask, isn't (early) Mass Assault more along the lines of "more reinforce chance", "lower supply use" etc? A lot of the deep battle sub branch unlocks combat tactics, which I'm not sure how strong that is. On the defense, especially with entrenched, they can hold out a long time. Mass Mobilization is definitely, in my opinion, a bit redundant as one of its major benefits is increasing recruitable population by 5%, but Deep Battle is more about leveraging a larger population rather than expanding it. Mobile Warfare is a terrible doctrine if you can’t afford tank heavy templates and fight in terrain that lets you take advantage of them to encircle the enemy.
